The Faultline Brewing Company is a San Francisco bay area restaurant that offers patrons award-winning beer (brewed on the premises), excellent food and a relaxing, yet vibrant, environment.
Faultline had been utilizing traditional print advertising to attract patrons. Although participation in an online reservation system had produced promising results, online advertising efforts to date had been disappointing. Still convinced that online can and should be an effective medium in their marketing mix, Faultline signed on with Jivox.
Using AdSlate by Jivox, Faultline created an artistic, visually compelling video ad that showcased a beer being poured very slowly into a frosty pilsner glass. To further engage the audience, Faultline chose to feature a promotion in the ad. The offer? Send an email with the phrase "I Love Beer" to be entered into a drawing to win a $50 Faultline gift certificate.
The campaign generated immediate response and ultimately proved to be the most successful online effort for Faultline to date. And, by tracking responses to the promotion, Faultline was able to confirm viewship of the ad itself, thus validating the effectiveness of the target audience strategy implemented by the Jivox Network.
