The Company

Limberg LASIK Institute is the leader in laser vision correction on the Central Coast of California. One of the country's most well-known, multi-specialty ophthalmology groups, the company has eight locations, offers expertise in medical, surgical and laser eye care, and is staffed by the area's most experienced refractive surgeons.

The Problem

Limberg LASIK Institute regularly conducts marketing and advertising campaigns to attract new customers. In the past, Limberg had tried direct mail campaigns and placed ads in newspapers, however these marketing programs had not generated a significant number of leads. Initial efforts with banner advertising on the internet also produced few results. Limberg was looking for a way to generate leads and make sure those efforts were specifically targeted at potential patients.

The Solution

The company decided to try online video advertising with Jivox. Leveraging content the company had created for a local television ad campaign, Limberg LASIK Institute used Jivox AdSlate to quickly and easily convert their existing ad into a web-ready video ad. In addition, Limberg added a promotional coupon to the ad that offered viewers $500 off of the company's Custom View LASIK service. Limberg then deployed the ad on the Jivox publisher network and used the platform's targeting capabilities to serve the ad in affluent Central Coast communities.

The Results

The Limberg LASIK Institute ad that ran on the Jivox platform in August 2008 produced more leads in one month than all other internet advertising efforts had produced year-to-date. Furthermore, Limberg reports that the new traffic was primarily "hot leads" and resulted in additional customers and revenue for the company.
