Job Description
- Sell online video advertising to Fortune 1000 companies and their ad agencies
- Exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals
- Contribute to the growth and direction of the company through evangelizing our proposition to senior level executives at brands/agencies
- Generate revenue through prospecting potential clients and agencies; identify needs and develop ad sales solutions
- Forecast revenue expectations and manage opportunities using CRM (Salesforce.com)
- Senior sales person; 5+ years experience in successful sales, with a specific focus in the digital media space
- Strong relationships with both agencies and brands within Western Region
- Experience managing senior client relationships at the account director level or above (if agency) or director level (if client)
- Experience working in a start-up environment — we're looking for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset who can shape and execute successful sales strategies
- Previous positions with major media companies or media related technology companies preferred
- Fast-learner able to recognize strategic fits between brands, our technology and our growing publisher network, and articulate those to our internal teams and to customers
- Cross-functional knowledge of all operational aspects involved in digital media sales
- Understand how internet advertising technology works and the ability to explain in ordinary terms
- Strong presentation & communication skills
- BA/BS required
